What is with the drive-by shootings aimed at men seemingly innocently sitting outside of their homes? One shooting matching this description went down a few weeks ago after a man was shot in the leg after a car drove-by and started shooting at him while he waited in his car outside of his home.
And, now a similar incident went down, but this time, both parties ended up with injuries.
The Charleston County Sheriff’s Department says that deputies responded to a reported drive by shooting at a home on Pinehurst Street in North Charleston at around 10:30 pm on November 27.
Initial investigations say that two male subjects were sitting in a vehicle in front of the house when a dark in color mini-van drove by the residence and shots were fired between the two vehicles.
The two subjects in the mini van drove to Roper Northwood’s Hospital, for non-life threatening injuries, and the two male subjects who were in the vehicle outside of the house were transported via EMS to MUSC with serious injuries.
There is no known motive for the shooting and investigators continue to work through the details.
